Just a great fit for shopping in Nantucket with good price-value balance. The side yard was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Make sure to enjoy the fresh fruit at breakfast.

    steep stairs

The Anchor Inn boasts beautifully decorated common areas that are cozy and accessible, making it an enjoyable stay for a senior traveler like me. I especially appreciated the charming furnishings that added to its quaint atmosphere.

Stairs can be challenging for carrying luggage.

    comfortable room
    great location
    limited breakfast options
    uncleanliness
    breakfast not available on time

A delightful stay highlighted by a great location, making it easy to explore. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, with an adequate continental breakfast. However, the breakfast selection was limited, and on one morning, it wasn’t ready by 8:30 AM. Additionally, cleanliness was a concern when I spotted a rat in the kitchen area. This was particularly disappointing given the nightly rate of $289.

Charming Escape with a Cozy Vibe!

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay in a Queen Room. The breakfast spread was delightful, fresh muffins and yogurt hit the spot. Don't miss the lovely side yard for a peaceful moment with a book. Diana's hospitality truly enhanced our experience! Perfect for couples seeking charm over luxury.

    luxurious linens
    historical decor
    steep stairs

The Queen Room was spacious and had a nice character. The bed was firm, which I loved, and the linens felt luxurious. I appreciated the blinds for daytime privacy and the historic decor added charm. Everything was clean and tidy, making it really comfortable. Just a heads-up, the bathroom is a bit tight for anyone who needs more space. Also, the stairs are steep if you're lugging heavy bags.

    value for money
    simple breakfast

It was just a top selection for an overnight stay in Nantucket with all in all brilliant value for money. Breakfast was a simple fruit offering and coffee, but the roll was inedible. Try to arrive early for breakfast. it runs out fast.

    cozy room
    delicious pastries
    limited parking
    stormy windows
    weather issues

Charming room with a cozy ambiance and a fantastic location near the ferry and restaurants. The cleanliness and comfort were commendable, and the breakfast spread of fresh fruit and pastries was a delightful start to the day. The only drawbacks were the stormy weather affecting window conditions and limited parking options, but the warm service made up for it.

perfectly situated for exploring nantucket's best attractions

We really loved how close we were to the Whaling Museum, just a short walk away, and the charming American Seasons restaurant was even closer, making it easy to enjoy a delightful meal after a day of exploring. the staff were also so friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. As a family with children, we appreciated the clean and spacious room, ideal for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing.

The Anchor Inn was a charming and inviting place, beautifully decorated with period furnishings. The common areas were cozy and accessible, allowing for easy movement, which I truly appreciated as a senior traveler.

    helpful innkeeper
    comfortable rooms

Nate, the innkeeper, really knows how to treat his guests. He brought us food one night after his daughter's party, which was a really nice touch.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but worth every penny.
